Southampton Camera Club (SCC) was founded in 1896 and is regarded as one of Southern England’s foremost photographic clubs. It has a full annual programme of traditional and digital photography.
- Meetings are held every Monday, starting at 19:45 hrs, except on a Bank Holiday.
- The SCC clubroom is in Copythorne Parish Hall.
- The hall is licensed for approximately 160 people with easy access for wheelchair users.
- The facilities include a large free car park.

Southampton Camera Club has plenty to offer both the novice and the more experienced photographer. We hold regular monthly club PDI (projected digital image) and Print competitions as well as photographic lectures from leading local and national photographers.
Southampton Camera Club is a member of the Southern Counties Photographic Federation competing with local photographic clubs and nationally in PAGB (Photographic Alliance of Great Britain) competitions.
There is a wide range of photographic interests and skills within the club, with photographic advice readily available from specialists in nature, landscape, portrait, darkroom and digital photography. Our full and diverse club programme will provide something for every photographic taste.
