About Southampton Camera Club
Southampton Camera Club (SCC) are one of the leading clubs in southern England, providing a mixed programme of competitions, lectures, and runs a well established annual event, the Southampton International Exhibition of Photography which is open to all photographers.
We aim to attract prominent judges and lecturers from all parts of the country, have a look at our fantastic programme of events.
We welcome complete beginners and experienced photographers from all age groups and aims to stimulate and encourage members of all abilities to fulfill their photographic potential.
We meet all year round, on Monday evenings (19:45 – 22:00hrs) throughout the year* at Copythorne Parish Hall on the edge of the New Forest, Hampshire, England, it is really easy to get to, outside of Southampton and close to the M27. *No meetings held on Bank Holidays.
There is tea and coffee available and there is a large free car park for club members and visitors. Entry for non-members £3 per evening. If you are thinking of becoming a member, our annual fee’s are very reasonable, and if you want to just come for a visit you are more than welcome – if you message us or contact us before coming via our facebook page, we will get someone to welcome you at the door. We know it is easier to come if you are looking out for a friendly face!
