SCC Gallery - The web gallery provides SCC members with a forum to display their work and share our common interest and joy of photography with other like minded folk. Both traditional and digital photographic images are on display and we make no distinction between either format. After all, the image is the important factor and should be enjoyed.

There are three competition sections - Primary - Intermediate - Advanced -

Club Seals are awarded for monochrome / colour prints and projected images (slides / digital). Each image gallery is updated throughout the competition season. At the end of the year the member with the highest number of seal awards is presented with the "President's Cup" and a certificate.

SCC Members' Portfolios - The member portfolio submissions are replaced throughout the year to allow other SCC members to display a selection of their personal favourite images. All earlier portfolios can be seen by visiting the Portfolio Gallery or by clicking the red Portfolio Gallery button located in the sidebar.
Submitted work will only include selected images by the author, including a mini biography about themselves and their photography.

Important point of interest to those who think they have limited photographic experience or equipment. Many of the photos you will see throughout this website have been taken on fairly modest photographic equipment so don't be put off joining SCC 'cause you don't have a fancy camera or loads of experience. Incidentally some seal winning images have been taken on compact cameras so owning a Hasselblad (hardly, if any of those in the club) or the latest Nikon or Canon is not necessary. So take that first step and come along and join in.
