3
Classes C, D & E are for Slides or Digital images.

5 Class C, D and E Digital entries must be submitted on standard CD ROM. The image must be a maximum of 1400 pixels wide by 1050 pixels high including any borders. Images 1024 pixels wide by 768 pixels high are acceptable but will appear smaller when projected. The files must be in TIFF or JPEG format at 300ppi resolution (for catalogue purposes). The filename must be in the format of “class entry number”, “title” (e.g. E1 Cuban Street, C2 Namibian Desert). Embedding a source ICC colour profile is recommended (usually sRGB or Adobe RGB 1998). Entries not meeting the specifications may not display correctly and may not be judged. Note: CD’s will not be returned; they will be destroyed once the catalogue has been printed.
6
In each of the Projected Image Classes (C, D & E), entries must be either slides OR digital, not a mixture in the same Class. Entries to different Classes can be in different media (i.e. Slides in Class D and Digital in C & E).
7 Entries for the Wildlife Award must be certified authentic by writing ‘W’ beside the title on the entry form.

The maximum entry in each Class per author is 4. An entrant’s 4 images will be distributed throughout 4 rounds of judging.
9 The same image must NOT be entered in more than one Class.
10
Name, address and title must be shown on each piece of work (Name & country on both CD and sleeve of digital entries) and numbered, to correspond with the entry form. Please limit titles to 25 characters. Please DO NOT use adhesive labels on CDs.
11 Entries accepted at a previous Southampton International Exhibition, or so similar as to be almost identical regardless of title, are not eligible.
12
All imagery MUST be the total and exclusive work of the submitting author and may not include any element that was originated by or is the copyright of other photographers.
13
The right of reproduction, including digital representation, will be assumed unless specifically withheld.
14
Entries will be treated with care, but no liability is accepted for loss or damage. An illustrated catalogue will be sent to each entrant and a label for each acceptance.
15
ENTRIES RECEIVED WITHOUT FEES OR RETURN POSTAGE - OR PAID FOR WITH FOREIGN CHEQUES OR MONEY ORDERS - WILL NOT BE JUDGED OR RETURNED.
16 Group Entries: provided all are included in one package, then a 10% discount on fees will be given for entries consisting of 10 separate entrants.
17
Please make sterling cheques payable to “Southampton Camera Club International”.
18 THE SUBMISSION OF AN ENTRY SIGNIFIES ACCEPTANCE OF THESE RULES AND CONDITIONS.
