Phil Green

Although I love all forms of photography it would be fair to say that over the last few years I have specialised in Natural History mainly in my beloved New Forest.

Although I take all types of pictures throughout the year my natural history photography is normally divided into quarters. Winter mainly birds - Spring Flora - Summer Dragon/Damsel & Butterflies - Autumn Fungi and the lovely forest colours.

I use a Canon System with my EOS 100 being my "Right Arm" I also use an EOS 5 with various fixed focal lenses plus a Vivitar 19 to 35.zoom. I use a Benbo MK1 tripod for all pictures and wherever possible I use Mirror Lock Up to reduce mirror slap.

I was made redundant in my mid-fifties and needed to sell enough pictures for my hobby to pay for itself, this I have managed with several hundred pictures with a natural history agency and many pictures published via my own submissions to magazines Etc.

Having said that my photography will always remain a hobby. I do slide shows to many types of groups for details contact. philipjgreen@ntlworld.com
